Kinja'd!!!

I also did a really bad photoshop (not me in pic). The website is almost useless right now; sometimes pages don't load, comment boxes freeze up, comments don't appear, etc. Also, the mobile is quite user unfriendly.

Honestly, the only issue I'm having is the comments not appearing, and for me, that's solved with a simple refresh.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. Hopefully things get fixed soon.

I may not be dealing with all of the issues others are, but I can more than understand the frustration.

Would you like me to share this to the Oppo page so someone can give you a step by step?

You do know what this means, right? As a rule whenever Kinja goes batshit flaky it means that Gawker is getting right on the cusp of rolling out another "improvement". And all that means is that Kinja is a useless steaming pile of crap for weeks to come, horribly unreliable and usually with some jackass new interface that's 10 times shitter than the one it replaces. Or at least that's been the historical pattern.

Thank you, but I already found the help file, which told me just what I already tried; error messages sometimes come up, and they come up sometimes when trying to comment. Also, I have opo authorization.

There seem to be a lot of people having problems right now, I don't think it is just me.

Try clearing your cookies and cache.

The only issue which should be consistently affecting your reading experience is comments not loading, which you can normally get past by holding the shift button and clicking refresh in your browser.

Curious what you find unfriendly about the mobile editor? Since it was updated awhile ago it has been squeaky clean for me and the complaints about it have dropped off. Do you mind if I ask what handset/OS/browser you're using? Thanks!

I should have clarified that remark. It is so much more user friendly when logging in and typing posts than it use to be. Also, the layout of the main pages is quite well done. I don't think I've run into any bugs either so mega props to the group that fixes that stuff. The fact that I can't post multiple images is my biggest grief. Sometimes I go to car shows or other functions and it would be nice to upload a couple of pics without having to import them to my desktop or throw them in replies. It is a bit annoying the default post location is your personal location, I always forget to select Oppo and have to go back and edit the post (I'm that lazy). iPod 5 with whatever the current iOS iteration is using Safari. Yeah, these are really first world problems.

Ahh gotcha. OK cools just making sure you weren't experiencing any serious mobile issues. Still working on the FF thing. Sit tight!

These issues with discussions should mostly be fixed. Might want to clear cache if you're still running into them with some frequency. If it's still an issue after clearing cache, let me know.
